Shamanic states/sacred sites – winter solstice workshop
This weekend workshop is open to those who wish to explore the shamanic realms at a deeper level. It is also an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.
This workshop is held twice a year at the summer and winter solstices. Individuals come together to create a supportive healing community where we can journey deeper into ourselves and beyond.
There will be ritual and ceremony on the sacred sites of the Boyne Valley, as well as a sacred Celtic sweatlodge ceremony, where individuals will journey into Mother Earth inside the cairn.

Mindfulness, meditation & contemplation
The Beehive’s New Year retreat takes place on the beautiful grounds of Maheramore. The day will contain a mixture of mindfulness, meditation, morning silence, walks, rest, some spiritual films, healthy food, ritual, and movement. The retreat also has some workshop elements. On New Year’s Eve there will be a ritual for letting go of 2011, and time spent visioning for 2012.

Reiki level I workshop
Led by Patricia Loughlin, this level one workshop focuses on self-healing. Students become a channel for the Reiki energy and are shown all the hand positions for giving oneself, family and friends a full Reiki treatment.
Over the two days, individuals will learn about balancing the Chakras, mental and emotional healing, the power of subconscious mind, healing with the Angels, and some NLP techniques are also taught.

Gerda Boyssen: Biodynamic skills for health and other professionals
This course is both practical and experiential,with an emphasis on introducing key concepts in the biodynamic philosophy. It can be used to enhance all professions and approaches, in particular the understanding of ‘psycho-peristalsis’- our innate ability to digest and eliminate the effects of stress or trauma.

Usui Reiki II

Raindrop therapy
On this course, individuals will learn how to apply 9 specific Young Living essential oils up the spine with the feather light touch. This is a deeply profound therapy that encompasses emotional and physical healing, and combines perfectly with many other holistic therapies. New Year retreat at Teach Bhride
The period between Christmas and New Year is an opportunity to reflect on the year gone by and for establishing our intentions for the year to come. During this retreat, individuals will practise mindfulness, meditation, and loving kindness meditation, in sitting and in mindful movement.
Insight and loving kindness are essential qualities for living a meaningful life. Insight is developed through mindfulness, a practice and leads to clarity and understanding. With the support of loving kindness practice we learn to befriend these experiences rather than fight them.

Nutrition in health care
This new nutrition course is run by Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health and designed for CAM therapists, other healthcare practitioners, and qualified personal trainers. Nutrition in Health Care provides the key nutritional understanding, practical skills and hands-on experience necessary to enhance clients' and patients' health outcomes.
The course format is a combination of class and home study. Course entry requirements are an anatomy & physiology qualification; professional training, and experience as a health-related practitioner.

Scaravelli yoga

Introduction to the 12 tissue salts

Why detox this January?
The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), along with detoxification expert and nutritional therapist Maev Creaven, is hosting a detox program in all three CNM colleges.
